The Adirondack Lodge was constructed in 1924 using river stone and vertical pine siding. There is a total of 4,000 square feet of living space. The main house has a slate roof, ten rooms including a ground floor family room with wooden beams and a working fire place. There are five bedrooms including a large master suite. The main house has two full baths, three half baths and a kitchen with knotty pine cabinets, granite counters and stainless steel appliances. In addition, there is a caretaker’ s cabin of ~1,200 square feet comprised of a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.
The property is located approximately 80 miles west of New York City (travel time 80 minutes), approximately 30 miles (travel time 30 minutes) to the Lehigh Valley and approximately 95 miles north of Philadelphia (travel time 90 minutes). It is right off Routes 33 and 209, both four lane highways and only 15 minutes from the New Jersey Border. The area features small picturesque towns like Stroudsburg, Delaware Water Gap and Mount Pocono and is in close proximity to two ski-areas, three water parks and the Crossings Outlet Center.
